Highlights
Intuitive Process Modeling Environment - designed for ease of use, Singularity's Builder component includes simple graphical tools and icons familiar to most users. A zoom feature allows users to easily navigate their models, and the use of color and text has been designed for maximum simplicity.
Interactive Whiteboard Integration - customers can draw process maps in freehand on a whiteboard, and the corresponding process model is built simultaneously by Singularity's modeling component. Customers can also add freehand annotations, walkthrough the process in real-time in front of an audience, and bring up prototype screens for review.
'Walkthrough' functionality - Singularity provides a 'walkthrough' feature that allows you to visually step through your new process design, showing how different branches in a process will execute, how long the process will take and how much each activity will cost.
Ease-of-integration - point-and-click discovery and integration to external systems using web services, COM and .NET Enterprise Services enables business staff to build complete processes without technical support. The Data Access Wizard provides a simple step-by-step mechanism for integration to databases.
Advanced Workflow rules - workflow can be routed among staff based on factors such as the utilization of human resources, staff availability, staff skill-set, or priority of the case being handled. Workflow approval can be routed to individuals or groups of users, and delegated up or down the organizational hierarchy.
Multiple Views of a Process - Singularity provides a range of views onto a process model, allowing analysts and designers to view and consider the likely impacts on their business of different design options. The views include swimlanes by cost, resource and duration, plus node-sizing based on cost or duration.
BPMN Support - Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is fast becoming the most popular standard for drawing process models. By supporting BPMN, Singularity makes it easy to re-use and share process models within and between organizations.
